Okinawa Temple: New Temple President and Matron

Tsukasa and Sae Nagamine have been called to serve as president and matron of the Okinawa Japan Temple, succeeding Hiroshi and Takako Kinjo.

Tsukasa Nagamine and Sae Nakaima Nagamine of the Itoman Ward, Okinawa Japan Stake, have been called to serve as president and matron of the Okinawa Japan Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They will begin their service in September 2026, succeeding President Hiroshi Kinjo and Sister Takako Kinjo.

Brother Nagamine was born in Naha, Okinawa, to Tetsuo Nagamine and Yoshiko Kinjo. He currently serves as a temple presidency counselor and as a Primary teacher, and previously served in many callings including bishop.

Sister Nagamine was born in Naha, Okinawa, to Jyouken Nakaima and Yoshie Moromikawa. She currently serves as an assistant temple matron and as a Primary teacher, and previously served in many callings including stake Relief Society president.
